How to apply

Joining Arcangel is a simple, curated process. You register your details, share a link to your portfolio, and our team personally reviews your work. Even if your images aren’t currently created with book covers in mind, we also look at their potential for the market. If there’s a good fit, we’ll set up your contributor account and guide you through your first steps with us.

Complete the short form on the Become a Contributor page and include a link to your strongest, most representative work. We’re interested in how you see stories visually – whether or not you’re already shooting specifically for book covers.

We review your work 

Our editors carefully assess every application, looking at creativity, originality, technical quality and suitability for book cover use. We also consider how your current style could be developed for the publishing market, and whether there is clear potential to grow with us.

Approved and ready to submit

If your application is successful, we’ll create your contributor account and send a confirmation email with everything you need to get started. From there, you can begin submitting new work.
